What Calder Care is, and isn't

Calder Care helps a care team organize looking after someone: plans, reminders, a shared log, a calendar and messages. It is not medical advice, a medical device or an emergency service. Always follow the advice of doctors and pharmacists. In an emergency, call 911 (or your local emergency number), not the app. Reminders and notifications can be late or fail (a phone off, no signal); don't rely on them alone for anything critical.

Your account and your team

• You must be 18 or older, and give accurate information.
• Only add a person's information to Calder Care if you're entitled to: you look after them, they've agreed, or you act for them (for example with power of attorney).
• Organizers choose who joins a team and are responsible for keeping it to the right people.
• You're responsible for what you write. Don't post anything unlawful or abusive.

Subscription

Calder Care Plus is for the person who sets up a care team: $9.99 a month or $79.99 a year, with a 14-day free trial, billed by Apple through your Apple ID. It renews until you cancel in your Apple ID settings. Refunds are handled by Apple. Everyone invited to a team uses Calder Care free.

Changes and ending

We may change Calder Care and these terms; we'll say so in the app when it matters. You can stop using it and delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that misuse it.

Liability

Calder Care is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses, or for any loss arising from relying on the app in place of professional care; our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months.
